Another of those films that feels like a pilot for a series. Maybe a Quantum Leap (1989–1993) or perhaps Sliders (1995–2000). It’s obviously constrained by its budget. Suffers at the hands of a weak script, with some pretty poor dialogue, that literally relies on deus ex machina, god from the machine, to end the story.
