Genre bending entertainment that’s ever-so-slightly earnest. It has moments of raucous hilarity, and fight sequences that would not be out of place in an action film.
What’s most astonishing is filmmakers Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert manage to keep the multiverse in order.
