A character lead story of the complicated relationships of five university friends “who gather at a compound in the woods north of San Francisco while the world is collapsing all around them”. If I wanted to be flippant, I’d describe it as The Big Chill (1983) during the apocalypse. Less survivalist and more self-discovery.
