A mysterious comet arrives, releasing some kind of virus into the atmosphere that kills only women. A woman and her partner survive in her apartment for more than a year, until it all becomes too desperate. They head out on one final trip together, one they’d been planning before the event. I really don’t know what to make of this. Technically it’s well made. The performances are strong. It just left me feeling a little bemused, asking why?
