The Guardian: Patrick Collinson: The truth about investing: women do it better than men

The sub heading to this article is “men are too emotional, they don’t focus, they buy on trend and they’re just too risky.” It should read, “men are too aggressive, they chase the pack, blinded by the avarice, and obsessed with winning.” Society teaches men to be like this. Business wants aggressive team players. You only have to watch The Apprentice to see what is demanded. Even the women in the process adopt these aggressive “masculine” atributes. Perhaps we should rethink what we expect from men?
