A Shakespearean battle between bad and evil, as gangland enforcer, tax collector Bobby Soto has his family’s safety threatened when a rival tries to take over his boss’ business. Set in a brutal world, it’s a brutal film, that could be some kind of allegorical summing up of contemporary culture.
